Palmer Events Center to Host Le Garage Sale, POP Cats, Build Expo, and More in August

AUSTIN, Texas – The Palmer Events Center will host 10 events during the month of August, including Le Garage Sale, POP Cats, Build Expo, one private business event, and more.

On Aug. 10, FloGrappling will host Tezos WNO 19: Meregali vs. Duarte in a 15-minute no-gi contest to settle their rivalry. The two world champions are 2-2 against each other in four bouts at black belt, and both sit atop the jiu-jitsu world as some of the most recognizable and accomplished athletes in the modern game. Action starts at 7 p.m.

Aug. 12-13, POP Cats returns to the Palmer Events Center for an experience featuring feline-inspired activities and an immersive feline world with cat merch, art, and music.

Also taking place Aug. 12-13 is the City-Wide Vintage Sale, making its return to the Palmer Events Center for Austin’s iconic vintage shopping experience.

The 2023 Build Expo will take place at the Palmer Events Center Aug. 16-17, featuring buyers and vendors from the construction industry’s top companies, including architects, general contractors, engineers, commercial builders, property managers, and more.

Austin Fit Fest 2023, powered by C4 Energy, takes place at the Palmer Events Center Aug. 19. Fitness competitions include strongman, CrossFit, jiu-jitsu, powerlifting, arm wrestling, and more.

The Texas Wood-Working Festival takes place Aug. 26-27, featuring exhibitions from furniture makers, lumber yards, tool manufacturers, content creators, and antique dealers.

Le Garage Sale returns to the Palmer Events Center Aug. 26-27. The highly-anticipated two-day shopping event features a curated mix of more than 100 local businesses with end-of-season pricing on clothes, accessories, home décor, and more.

Aug. 28-30, Gardner Business Media, Inc. presents Formnext Forum Austin, an immersive learning experience for attendees built around a robust conference schedule with an emphasis on sharing ideas and technology advancements in production 3D printing.
