Palmer Events Center to Host Austin Record Convention, Austin Train Show, and More in May

AUSTIN, Texas – The Palmer Events Center will host 15 events during the month of May, including the Austin Record Convention, the Austin Train Show, six private events, and more.

May 5-7, the Palmer Events Center will host the Austin Record Convention, the largest sale of recorded music in the U.S., featuring 78s, 45s, LPs, CDs, cassettes, posters, collectibles, and more from more than 300 dealers.

May 6-7, the Austin Train Show will also take place at the Palmer Events Center, featuring more than 25,000 square feet of model railroading. The Austin Train Show will feature dozens of vendors with model train products for sale, clinics, raffles, and a rideable “Kiddie Express” train.

On May 11, the 2023 CCA Austin Annual Banquet will take place at the Palmer Events Center, hosted by the Coastal Conservation Association of Texas. The annual fundraiser features raffles, a live auction, and the opportunity to network with anglers and angling businesses.

On May 13, the Texas Roller Derby returns to the Palmer Events Center for a bout between the Holy Rollers and the Hellcats.

May 20-21, City-Wide Vintage Sale, Austin’s vintage paradise, returns to the Palmer Events Center. Regular Shopper Hours take place 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Sunday, with Early Shopper Hours taking place 8:30 - 10 a.m. Saturday.

Dance XB will be hosting an event at the Palmer Events Center May 20-21, as well.

May 24-25, GreenBook will host IIEX North America, Insight Innovation Exchange 2023, at the Palmer Events Center, providing opportunities for market research leaders to share ideas, collaborate, and define the future of insights.

On May 28, CapTex Tri athletes will pick up their race packets at the Palmer Events Center before competing in the triathlon on May 29.
