Palmer Events Center to Host Rodeo Austin Gala, Austin Marathon Expo, and More in February
AUSTIN, Texas – The Palmer Events Center will host 10 events during the month of February, including the Rodeo Austin Gala, Austin Marathon Expo, and two private events, among others.
The Rodeo Austin Gala takes place at the Palmer Events Center Feb. 3 to support Rodeo Austin in their mission of raising millions for Texas kids. This Texas-sized fundraiser includes cocktails and gourmet dinner, silent and live auctions, a raffle, fundraising games, and live music from Robert Earl Keen.
On Feb. 6, the Central Texas African American Family Support Conference (CTAAFSC) takes place at the Palmer Events Center. The conference provides opportunities to learn more about mental health, intellectual and developmental disabilities, substance use disorders, and physical health challenges and solutions.
On Feb. 8, the City of Austin’s African American Heritage Network will host the Employee Black History Program at the Palmer Events Center.
The Imagine National Dance Challenge takes place at the Palmer Events Center Feb. 10, featuring a positive, safe, and fun dance competition with 91 percent of proceeds going toward breast cancer research and awareness programs.
The Time Travelers Vintage Expo also takes place at the Palmer Events Center on Feb. 10, featuring vintage clothing, home goods, retro-inspired handmade items, and more for sale.
The Austin Marathon Expo takes place at the Palmer Events Center Feb. 16-17, where marathon runners will pick up their race packets and discover the latest trends in running apparel, nutrition, supplements, and more.
The Texas Roller Derby returns to the Palmer Events Center Feb. 18, featuring a bout of banked track roller derby between the Holy Rollers and the Cherry Bombs.
The Greater Austin Regional Science and Engineering Fair takes place at the Palmer Events Center Feb. 22-24, where elementary through high school students will present science and engineering projects to a panel of judges for a chance to advance to subsequent competitions.
