Palmer Events Center to Host Bridal Extravaganza, Austin Alternative Energy Show and More in June
AUSTIN, Texas – The Palmer Events Center is hosting seven events during the month of June, including the 2021 Bridal Extravaganza and the Austin Alternative Energy Show. The seven events scheduled to take place in June are estimated to bring in a total of more than 17,000 people to the Palmer Events Center.
The 2021 Traffic Show, a wholesale trade show hosted by Cinco Kings, will return to action Tuesday, June 2 and Wednesday, June 3 and will bring in approximately 150 wholesale shoppers (trafficshow.us). The City of Austin will host 2021 National Coming Out Day for approximately 200 guests on June 2. Saturday, June 5 through Sunday, June 6, Texas Weddings LTD will host the 2021 Bridal Extravaganza to showcase wedding dresses, flower arrangements, and other wedding necessities to approximately 1,500 guests (texasweddings.com).
The Austin Alternative Energy Show will bring close to 4,000 people to Palmer the weekend of June 12-13 to discuss electric vehicles, solar energy, smart home devices, and more (do512.com). On June 19, the Austin Oddities and Curiosities Expo will bring another 4,000 guests to showcase vendors, dealers, and artists that specialize in “all things weird” including original artwork, handcrafted oddities, and more (odditiesandcuriositiesexpo.com). To wrap up the month of June, the Palmer Events Center will once again welcome approximately 4,000 shoppers for the City-Wide Vintage Sale (citywidevintagesale.com).
The month of July will feature five events at the Palmer Events Center that are expected to bring in a total of close to 14,500 guests throughout the month.
The Austin Convention Center and Palmer Events Center are operated by the Austin Convention Center Department, a division of the City of Austin. The Austin Convention Center Department (ACCD) continues to adhere to all City of Austin, Travis County, State of Texas, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations. For June 2021, the social distancing requirement is three feet. Beginning in July 2021 and beyond, there will be no social distancing obligations.
Although ACCD recommends wearing a mask during your visit to our facility, face coverings are optional for attendees, staff, and clients, and enforcement is now the responsibility of the client. Health screenings and temperature checks upon entry are not required but are available as optional services per client request.
