Palmer Events Center to Host Body Mind Spirit Expo, Classic Game Fest and More in July

AUSTIN, Texas – The Palmer Events Center is hosting five events during the month of July, including the 2021 Body Mind Spirit Expo and the 2021 Classic Game Fest. The five events scheduled to take place in July are estimated to bring in a total of 14,500 people to the Palmer Events Center.

The 2021 Crystal Ball, hosted as a benefit for the children of Helping Hand Home, will take place Saturday, July 10 and will bring in approximately 2,000 guests (helpinghandhome.org). July 17 and 18, the City-Wide Vintage Sale will take place once again with an estimated 4,000 vintage shoppers (citywidevintagesale.com). The Palmer Events Center will also host the Body Mind Spirit Expo July 17 and 18, featuring live music performances, psychics, alternative health and wellness tools, and more for approximately 1,000 guests (bmse.net).

The 2021 Classic Game Fest, dubbed “the biggest retro gaming event in Texas,” returns to Palmer the weekend of July 24 and 25 and is expected to bring in 7,000 retro gamers (classicgamefest.com). July 27 and 28, the Texas Board of Law Examiners will hold the 2021 Texas Bar Examinations.

A total of eight events will take place at the Palmer Events Center in August, including the return of Le Garage Boutique Sale. The eight events will bring in an estimated 13,700 guests.

The Austin Convention Center and Palmer Events Center are operated by the Austin Convention Center Department, a division of the City of Austin. The Austin Convention Center Department (ACCD) continues to adhere to all City of Austin, Travis County, State of Texas, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations. Beginning in July 2021 and beyond, there will be no social distancing obligations.
