Palmer Events Center to Host Austin Record Convention, City-Wide Vintage Sale and More in May
AUSTIN, Texas – The Palmer Events Center will host eight public events during the month of May, including the Austin Record Convention and City-Wide Vintage Sale.
On May 2, the Palmer Events Center will host the City of Austin Career Expo, which intends to provide opportunities for local employers to connect with talent to fill critical vacancies and to help job seekers find career opportunities.
May 6-8, the Austin Record Convention takes place at the Palmer Events Center where more than 300 dealers will be selling 78s, 45s, LPs, CD, cassettes, posters, collectibles and more.
The GAMA Tradeshow, hosted by the Greater Austin Merchants Cooperative Association, takes place at the Palmer Events Center on May 10.
On May 12, the CCA Austin Annual Banquet, hosted by the Coastal Conservation Association, takes place to celebrate the CCA Austin Chapter.
On May 16, the Texas Department of Information Resources hosts the DIR Information Security Forum at the Palmer Events Center, bringing together security and IT professionals from public sector organizations across Texas for an educational conference.
On May 19, the Texas Department of Information Resources hosts the DIR Connect Technology Expo at the Palmer Events Center where purchasing professionals have the opportunity to attend training classes and network with DIR vendors.
May 21-22, the City-Wide Vintage Sale returns to the Palmer Events Center to provide Austin with an iconic vintage shopping experience.
May 29-30, the Palmer Events Center hosts the CapTex Tri Packet Pick Up and Expo prior to Monday’s race through the Texas Capital.
The Palmer Events Center is proud to have achieved both Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR™ accreditation and LEED Gold certification, demonstrating the facility’s commitment to health and safety and energy and environmental design, respectively.
