Palmer Events Center to Host Austin Record Convention, Austin Gem and Mineral Show and More in October

AUSTIN, Texas – The Palmer Events Center will host eight events during the month of October, including the Austin Record Convention and Austin Gem and Mineral Show, among others.

Oct. 1-2, the Austin Record Convention returns to the Palmer Events Center with the largest selection of recorded music for sale in the United States, including CDs, 45s, LPs, 8-tracks, cassettes, and more.

Also taking place Oct. 1-2 is the Great American Franchise Expo, allowing patrons to experience the essence of franchising through coaching, expositions, and expert guidance from industry heavyweights.

The 2022 Culinary Arts Career Conference takes place at the Palmer Events Center on Oct. 5, giving Texas high school culinary arts students the opportunity to learn and gain inspiration through direct connection with culinary professionals from a broad spectrum of career paths in the food and beverage industry.

On Oct. 18, the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) will close its annual event with a party at the Palmer Events Center.

The Austin Gem and Mineral Show returns to the Palmer Events Center Oct. 21-23, hosting 30-plus vendors selling gemstones, jewelry, beads, mineral specimens, fossils, crystals and more.

The Austin ISD All-District Fair takes place at the Palmer Events Center on Oct. 22, giving AISD schools the opportunity to showcase their campuses to AISD students and families.

On Oct. 23, the 2022 Livestrong Challenge will begin at the Palmer Events Center as cyclists ride 20, 45, 65, or 100 miles through the Texas Hill Country in a fundraiser to fight cancer.

On Oct. 27, the Austin Apartment Association’s AAA Trade Show connects vendors with on-site personnel, managers, maintenance technicians, supervisors, and other AAA members.

The Palmer Events Center is proud to have achieved both Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR™ accreditation and LEED Gold certification, demonstrating the facility’s commitment to health and safety and energy and environmental design, respectively.
