
Palmer Events Center to Host Austin Card Show, Austin Train Show, Le Garage Sale, and More in August
AUSTIN, Texas – The Palmer Events Center will host 10 events during the month of August, including the Austin Card Show, Austin Train Show, Le Garage Sale, and one private event, among others.
Bully City Limits takes place at the Palmer Events Center on Aug. 3, featuring a French and English Bulldog show with photographers, judges, DJs, and more as bulldog enthusiasts show off their pets.
Pop Cats 2024 takes place at the Palmer Events Center Aug. 3-4. Pop Cats is an immersive festival featuring cat-themed environments, adoption opportunities, art, workshops, merchandise, photo ops, and more.
Big Ole Queer Market takes place at the Palmer Events Center Aug. 10-11, featuring more than 130 LGBTQIA+ local vendors and artists. The two-day event is open from noon-6 p.m. on Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday.
The Austin Card Show also takes place at the Palmer Events Center Aug. 10-11, where attendees can buy and sell sports cards, Pokémon cards, memorabilia, collectibles, and more. The event is open on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Texas Roller Derbyreturns to the Palmer Events Center on Saturday, Aug. 17, for a bout of banked track roller derby between the Hellcats and the Rhinestones. Doors open at 5 p.m. and game time is set for 6 p.m.
The City-Wide Vintage Sale returns to the Palmer Events Center Aug. 17-18, providing treasure hunters with opportunities to strike gold from dozens of vintage shops all under one roof. Doors are open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
The Austin Train Show takes place at the Palmer Events Center Aug. 24-25, featuring more than 25,000 square feet of model railroading, Lego railroads, clinics, vendors, and more. The event is open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Le Garage Sale also takes place at the Palmer Events Center Aug. 24-25, featuring a sea of sale racks from more than 140 expertly curated local businesses offering end-of-season pricing for one weekend only. VIP hours are Saturday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Normal hours are Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Austin Tattoo Invitational takes place at the Palmer Events Center Aug. 30 – Sept. 1, featuring artwork and appointment availability from some of the most talented tattoo artists in the world. The event is open Friday from noon to 10 p.m., Saturday from noon to 10 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 7 p.m.
