December 2018 brings Armadillo Christmas Bazaar, Coats for Kids, 2018 New Year’s Pops, and more to the Palmer Events Center
Nine total events scheduled throughout the month at the Palmer Events Center will bring over 50,000 attendees through its doors.
December 1, 2018Austin, Texas – The holidays are here and for the PEC (Palmer Events Center) there is no slowing down! Eleven different events will keep the facility busy throughout the month of December.
Among the consumer shows that are part of the PEC schedule in December are the Junior League of Austin’s 2018 Coats for Kids event on December 8 – expected attendance is around 8,000. For more information, go to www.jlaustin.org. In addition, the 43rd annual Armadillo Christmas Bazaar returns to the Palmer Events Center on December 13 and will run through December 24. The Austin Symphony Orchestra will present its 2018 New Year’s Pops concert at the Palmer Events Center on December 29 and December 30. This year’s show is “Ella & Louis”. Byron Stripling and Carmen Bradford’s chemistry lights up the stage as they take you on a journey through the most famous duets and solos recorded by two of jazz’s greatest legends. Byron and Carmen are a musical reincarnation of Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald. Featuring hits of the Great American Songbook, they recreate one of the most memorable collaborations in music history while entertaining and capturing everyone’s heart along the way.
