August 2018 brings POP Cats 2018, AGC Conference, City-Wide Garage Sale, and more to the Palmer Events Center

Events scheduled throughout the month at the Palmer Events Center will bring over 25,000 attendees through its doors.

Summer is quickly turning to fall, and for the Palmer Events Center (PEC) there is no slowing down! Many different events will keep the facility busy throughout the month of August.

Several consumer shows are part of the PEC schedule in August. The Austin Independent School District will host the 2018 AISD Back to School Bash at the PEC on August 4 (www.austinisd.org); City Wide Garage Sale LLC will present their 2018 City-Wide Garage Sale on August 18 and August 19 (www.cwgs.com); and Le Garage Sale will host their 2018 Le Garage Boutique Sale on August 25 and August 26 (www.legaragesale.net).

One conference is on the books at the PEC in August – the Community Association Institute of the Austin Area will host the 2018 CAI Austin Conference and Expo on August 16. For more information, go to www.caiaustin.org.

In addition, the Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses will hold their 2018 Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses Convention from August 10 through August 12 (www.jw.org/en/jehovahs-witnesses/conventions/); Texas Weddings LTD will convene the 2018 August Exhibitor Meeting on August 14 (www.austinweddings.com); the Associated General Contractors of Texas (AGC) will host the AGC of Texas 2018 Executive Safety Conference on August 22 (www.agctx.org); the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) will host their AAHOA 2018 South Central Texas Regional Meeting on August 23 (www.aahoa.com); and Doodles Productions, LLC will present POP Cats 2018 on August 25 and August 26 (www.popcats.org).

Over 80 percent of the scheduled events represent repeat business – reinforcing the Palmer Events Center’s reputation as a dynamic meetings facility.

Looking ahead to September, there are 16 total events booked at the Palmer Events Center.
