Palmer Events Center to Host City of Austin Career Expo, Statesman Cap 10K Expo, and More in April

AUSTIN, Texas – The Palmer Events Center will host seven events during April, including the City of Austin Career Expo, the Statesman Cap 10K Expo, and the City-Wide Vintage Sale.

The 2025 City of Austin Career Expo will take place on Wednesday, April 2. It intends to help build a stronger community by providing opportunities for local employers to connect with talent to fill critical vacancies. Job seekers will have opportunities to meet face-to-face with representatives from the private sector and local government.

The 48th Annual Statesman Capitol 10,000 returns to Austin on April 6. Prior to that, the Palmer Events Center will host the Cap 10K’s Health and Fitness Expo, featuring exhibitors offering 2025 race merchandise and the latest running footwear, apparel, nutrition, technology, and more. The Health and Fitness Expo takes place on Friday, April 4, from noon to 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Rainbow Dance Competition takes place at the Palmer Events Center April 4-6, producing a high-quality dance event that creates rewarding experiences for dancers, teachers, and parents.

The 2025 Austin National College Fair will be held at the Palmer Events Center on April 8 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., where students, counselors, and parents can connect with hundreds of colleges and universities.

The Health Optimisation Summit takes place at the Palmer Events Center April 12-13, featuring sessions on biohacking, nutrition, longevity, fitness, and functional and preventative medicine.

The TxSWANA Annual Conference, hosted by the Lone Star Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA), takes place at the Palmer Events Center April 20-23. The 2025 TxSWANA Annual Conference is the premier event for solid waste education and trade in Texas, offering attendees an exciting opportunity to explore the latest in equipment, waste management trends, and regulatory updates.

The City-Wide Vintage Sale returns to the Palmer Events Center April 26-27, giving attendees the chance to strike gold amongst a variety of vintage vendors selling furniture, clothing, records, art, and more.
