Austin Tattoo Invitational, Texas Woodworking Festival Highlight Palmer Events Center September Calendar

AUSTIN, Texas – The Palmer Events Center will host 10 events during the month of September, including the Austin Tattoo Invitational and the Texas Woodworking Festival, along with eight other events.

The Tabernacle Encounter, hosted by Good News Austin Church, takes place Tuesday, Sept. 1 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Visitors can walk through the tabernacle and explore the meaning of each element in a clear and engaging way.

Tattoo Education Sessions take place at the Palmer Events Center Sept. 1-2 and feature two full days of seminars, workshops, panels, meals, materials, and more.

The 2026 Austin Tattoo Invitational takes place Sept. 4-6, bringing more than 350 tattoo artists to the Palmer Events Center for a weekend of live tattooing, live painting and large-scale art showcases, food trucks, live interviews and podcasts, tattoo contests, and more.

ThrillerCon takes place at the Palmer Events Center on Sunday, Sept. 6, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event brings together more than 100 vendors featuring vintage clothing, sneakers, collectibles, and more.

Volunteers will participate in a 9/11 Day meal packing event at the Palmer Events Center on Sept. 11, as companies across America unite for the largest single-day meal pack in history, aiming to pack 18 million meals for families in need across more than 50 U.S. cities.

The Women’s Symphony League (WSL) of Austin’s 71st Annual Jewel Ball takes place at the Palmer Events Center on Sept. 19, featuring auctions, live music, and casino games. This black-tie philanthropic event serves as a celebration of WSL’s longstanding impact on the arts in Central Texas.

Rails World 2026 takes place at the Palmer Events Center Sept. 23-34, kicking off a two-day, two-track community conference featuring technical talks, demos, networking, and keynotes about the latest features and best practices in Rails development.

The Texas Woodworking Festival takes place at the Palmer Events Center Sept. 26-27 and features an industry trade show, educational seminars, and a woodworking-themed festival. The event brings together lumber yards, woodworking organizations and clubs, content creators, furniture makers, and tool manufacturers for a weekend of food, drinks, and all things woodworking.

The City-Wide Vintage Sale returns to the Palmer Events Center Sept. 26-27, transforming the facility into a vintage lover’s paradise for a weekend of shopping for vintage clothing, art, décor, furniture, and more.

The Gulf Response Alliance will hold its inaugural event Sept. 29-30, bringing together industry, institutional, community, and regulatory leaders for hands-on training and coordination.
