Palmer Events Center to Host Austin Record Convention, Bitcoin++, and More in May

AUSTIN, Texas – The Palmer Events Center will host 17 events during the month of May, including Bitcoin++, the 2024 Austin Record Convention, and three private events, among others.

Bitcoin++ takes place at the Palmer Events Center May 1-4, taking attendees through a deep dive into all things Bitcoin script, including workshops, networking opportunities, and more.

May 4-5, the Austin Record Convention returns to the Palmer Events Center for the largest sale of recorded music in the country. Attendees can expect more than one million 78s, 45s, LPs, CDs, cassettes, posters, collectibles, and more available for sale from hundreds of dealers from all over the world.

The Culinary Arts Career Conference (CACC), hosted by the Texas Food and Wine Alliance, takes place at the Palmer Events Center on May 7. CACC is a one-day free conference giving Texas high school culinary arts students the opportunity to learn and gain inspiration through direct connection with culinary professionals from a broad spectrum of career paths in the food and beverage world.

The 2024 Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) Austin Annual Banquet takes place at the Palmer Events Center on May 9, featuring dinner, raffles, a live auction, and more in an effort to raise funds for the CCA.

Transforming Trauma World Tour: Austin takes place at the Palmer Events Center on May 12. The event, hosted by Human Garage, is focused on healing through facial maneuvers to release physical and emotional trauma.

SaaStock USA takes place at the Palmer Events Center May 13-15, bringing together software-as-a-service (SaaS) founders, investors, and operators for networking opportunities, workshops, pitch competitions, startup programs, and more.

The 2024 Affordable Art Fair takes place at the Palmer Events Center May 16-19, welcoming local, national, and international exhibitors showcasing original contemporary artworks priced between $100 and $10,000.

The City-Wide Vintage Sale returns to the Palmer Events Center May 18-19, providing treasure hunters with opportunities to strike gold from dozens of vintage shops all under one roof. Doors are open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 18 and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 19.

The 2024 Build Expo takes place at the Palmer Events Center May 22-23, featuring keynote sessions, educational seminars, and thousands of products and services on display for those in the building and construction industry.

The Texas Roller Derby returns to the Palmer Events Center on May 25 for a bout of action-packed, banked-track roller derby between the Hellcats and Holy Rollers.

The 2024 CapTex Tri will host its Packet Pick-up and Expo at the Palmer Events Center on Sunday, May 26, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., where athletes can pick up their race materials and check out products that expo vendors have to offer.

Kipp Texas Public Schools - Austin will host their 2024 Graduation Ceremonies at the Palmer Events Center on May 26, as well.

Hack Your Health by KetoCon takes place at the Palmer Events Center May 31 – June 2, featuring cutting-edge health hacks from more than 70 world-class speakers.
