March 2019 Brings South By Southwest, 2019 GAMA Trade Show, Spring Home & Garden Show, and More to the Palmer Events Center

Eight total events scheduled throughout the month at the Palmer Events Center will bring over 25,000 attendees through its doors

Spring is nearly here, and for the PEC (Palmer Events Center), it’s full speed ahead! Eight different events will keep the facility humming throughout the month. Arguably the premier multimedia festival in the world, Austin-based South by Southwest (SXSW) showcases the best and brightest of computer technology, gaming, film, and music at locations throughout the city of Austin. The Palmer Events Center will host the 2019 SXSW Wellness Expo on March 9 and March 10. More information can be found at www.sxsw.com.

On March 5, the Greater Austin Merchants Cooperative Association (GAMA) will present the 2019 GAMA Trade Show at the Palmer Events Center. For more details, please go to www.gamaus.com. In addition, the City of Austin’s Human Resources Department will host the 2019 Supervisor Academy on March 5 www.austintexas.gov.

From March 22 through March 24, the Austin Spring Home and Garden Show will come to the Palmer Events Center. For more information, go to www.austinhomeandgardenshow.com. Also, the Palmer Events Center Parking Garage will be utilized for Rodeo Austin’s 2019 Cowboy Breakfast parking on March 8 (www.rodeoaustin.com); the Helping Hand Home for Children, Inc. will present the 2019 Helping Hand Gala on March 2 (www.helpinghandhome.org); the National Association for College Admission Counseling will host their 2019 Austin National College Fair on March 26 (www.nacacfairs.org); and 2019 Texas Roller Derby action returns on March 30 www.txrd.com.

Over ninety percent of the scheduled events represent repeat business – reinforcing the Palmer Event Center’s reputation as a dynamic meetings facility.

Looking ahead to April, the PEC shows no slowing down as twelve total events are booked at the Palmer Events Center.
