In light of the growing concerns regarding the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), the Austin Convention Center Department (ACCD) has implemented enhanced housekeeping protocols to help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses.

Trisha Tatro, Assistant Director of the Austin Convention Center Department (ACCD), has been named Interim Director of the department, effective Feb. 9, 2020. As Interim Director, Tatro will temporarily replace former ACCD Director Mark Tester.

Approximately 55,000 attendees are scheduled to visit Palmer Events Center (PEC) in February 2020, spread throughout 13 events, nearly doubling PEC’s number of attendees from the month of January.

12 events throughout the month expected to bring more than 30,000 people through Palmer Events Center doors.

Eleven total events scheduled throughout the month at the Palmer Events Center will bring over 64,000 attendees through its doors.
