November 2018 brings A Christmas Affair, HEB Feast of Sharing 2018, City-Wide Garage Sale, and more to the Palmer Events Center

2017 JLA A Christmas Affair

The holidays are right around the corner and for the PEC (Palmer Events Center) there is no slowing down! Eleven different events will keep the facility busy throughout the month of November.

Several consumer shows are part of the PEC schedule in November. Vintage Market and Event Company will host the 2018 City-Wide Garage Sale on November 24 and November 25 (www.cwgs.com); the Settlement Club will hold the 2018 Settlement Club Charity Garage and Estate Sale from November 1 through November 4 (www.settlementhome.org); and the Junior League of Austin will present ‘A Christmas Affair’ at the Palmer Events Center from November 14 through November 18 (www.jlaustin.org).

Other events at the PEC in November are the DeveloperWeek Austin 2018 Conference and Expo on November 7 and November 8; Austin Energy’s 2018 Employee Business Meeting on November 6; the City of Austin’s 2018 Veterans’ Appreciation Luncheon on November 7; the City of Austin’s Speed Mentoring 2018 event, also on November 7; Cousins Club Inc.’s 2018 November Public Dance on November 21; the Austin Oddities and Curiosities Expo on November 24 (www.odditiesandcuriositiesexpo.com); the Cinco Kings Traffic Show on November 27 and November 28 (www.trafficshow.us); and H-E-B’s 2018 Feast of Sharing on November 20 (www.heb.com).

Over 80 percent of the scheduled events in November represent repeat business – reinforcing the Palmer Events Center’s reputation as a dynamic meetings facility.

Looking ahead to December, six total events are booked at the Palmer Events Center.

Nearly 3 million people have attended 1,000+ events at the 131,000-square foot Palmer Events Center since it opened in 2002. Events at both the Convention Center and the Palmer Events Center and their websites can be accessed at www.austinconventioncenter.com.
